Fried Egg on Toast
Fried eggs can form part of a popular breakfast – particularly when combined with other ingredients such as sausages, bacon, mushrooms, beans, black pudding etc. You can serve on any toasted bread of your liking. I prefer to use Kingsmill 50/50, but you should use any bread of your choice. Just remember to adjust the nutrient value to suit.
Ingredients
1 cal olive oil spray
1 Medium lice Kingsmill 50/50
- I large egg
- 1 Medium slice buttered toast (optional)
- Olive Oil Spray
- Salt Pepper to taste
Cooking Guidlines
Spray a frying pan with 1 cal ( or Fryright or any other spray oil) and put over a medium heat. Wait for spray to go clear and crack eggs into the pan. Fry until cooked to your liking and serve.
If you prefer the egg to be turned, use a spatula and slide it under the egg and flip it over.
When cooked to your liking, Serve with a slice of buttered toast and/or any of the optional ingredients mentioned above.
