Air Fryer Boiled Egg (2)
Eggs have been boiled in water for thousands of years, so why do them in an air fryer? There are many advantages including: save energy, more accurate timing for eggs being cooked, can cook many eggs (say a dozen or more at once) and easy cleaning of cooking utensils being four examples
Ingredients
2 large eggs
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Guidlines
Heat the air-fryer to 180C. Put the eggs in the air-fryer basket and cook. 8 or 9 minutes for soft boiled and 14 to 15 minutes for hard boiled. Depending on the air fryer, these times may require tweaking until you are satisfied.
When done put the eggs in a bowl of ice cold water for about 20 or 30 seconds. this will stop them cooking and make peeling much easier.
