Omelette
Create a basic omelette from just eggs and milk. If you wish to experiment with different fillings then there are plenty of options: cooked mushrooms, ham (smoked or unsmoked) cheese, herbs etc. to name but a few a few.
Ingredients
Plain
- 2 large eggs (154 cals)
- 1 tbsp skimmed milk (5 cals)
- can spray live oil (6 cals)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Mushroom Filling
35g fried mushrooms
Cooking Guidlines
Spray the pan with six sprays of 1 cal olive oil spray and bring to a medium heat. Break eggs into a bowl, add milk, salt and pepper and beat with a whisk or fork. Pour the mixture into the pre-heated pan. Using a spatula, create a hole in the middle of the mixture and allow uncooked eggs to flow. Now is the time to fill the omelette with any fillings you may wish to add. Remember to adjust the values in the nutrients table to account for these fillings. After adding your fillings and allowing the omelette to fry to your liking, fold in half using the spatula, transfer to a pre warmed plate and enjoy.
